Senior Services - Oswego Apartments

The Diamond Senior Apartments, located at 3350 White Oak Drive in Oswego IL is a 60-unit, three-story rental development for active, independent seniors age 55 and older.

Featherfist partners with 3 Diamond Development to provide support services to seniors to ensure they are able to access all community resources including medical care, public entitlements, places of worship, libraries, shopping conveniences and other activities.

The Development was funded with Low Income Housing Tax Credits issued by the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) and targets moderate-income seniors. Rents range from $635 to $765 for one-bedroom units and $720 to $890 for two-bedroom units. There are eight spacious one-bedroom floor plans to choose from, with 617 to 678 square feet of space, and four two-bedroom options, with a range of 901 to 971 square feet.

All units are totally self-contained and have free, individually controlled central air and heat, and come fully equipped with brand new stove, refrigerator and microwave. Ten percent (10%) of the units are ADA accessible and every unit is adaptable. The building also features a wellness center with private rooms where visiting medical professionals can provide health consultations and medical screenings.

The common areas include inviting places to relax such as an outdoor gazebo, library and lounge with fireplace, community room and fully equipped computer room with high-speed internet. Residents also enjoy the convenience of laundry rooms on each floor and an on-site beauty salon.

Comprehensive and Specialized Case Management

The key factor in the success of any participant in any of the above programs is comprehensive and specialized case management. Although the one common issue all participants share is homelessness, we know that shelter alone is not enough. Learn more
