GENEROSITY AMONG chicago's finest
Featherfist would like to thank the Chicago Police Department for the donations given to our Featherfist veteran participants.
Fort III Director, Tim Zenner had the opportunity to speak with Sgt. Devin Jones about the services Featherfist offers to homeless veterans on their way to self sufficiency and finding housing. This began the effort lead by Sgt. Jones and others to donate to the Fort five GIANT boxes of hygiene items, new socks, and more items.
A lot of folks helped in acquiring these items and they plan to work with us again.
Thank you very much.
An extremely generous One Thousand Dollar donation was made to us on behalf of 'Congo Square Theatre'. The collaboration that we shared with the eighteen year old theater company during the run of 'Hobo King' was a wonderful experience for all, and we look forward to working with Congo in the future.
Thank you to Executive Director, TaRon Patton and Board Member, Kirkland Townsend for visiting our offices today and for their special involvement throughout the project.
